5 ways to distribute music

It's hard to surprise someone with a new CD-album, not to mention it's so old-fashioned and boring. It turns out, there're other unusual ways. I found some really cool ideas to distribute your music.

1. "Eat me" album
In 2008 Max Tundra release his album in a format of....a soup can. A $19 soup can contained a download code and an exclusive digital song covering by his friends.

And there's more. According to the latest news Metallica is planning to release new album within cereal boxes!

2. Flash drive

J Lo once brought her "Brave" album to Gresso Flash drive. Sony BMG Music Entertainment allowed it to distribute Lopez's album on the Adam & Eve luxury flash drive. The $70 piece featured 1 GB of storage and was crafted from African Blackwood.

3. Remixable albums

Some artists go digital and offer their fans to remix songs via iPhone app. Celebs like Soulja Boy spotted on this one and the tendency continues to grow.

4. iAlbum

Some celebs go big and release the customized iPods or mp3 players as their albums. The world famous U2 iPod still sells on Amazon for $9,994,00.

5. Back to Basics

Who needs iTunes when there're cassettes? Wait... no, I'm not mistaken. Who would have known they'd make such a come back?
